Frozen Patriotic Banana Pops

2 Bananas (slightly green)

4 squares Almond Bark (Vanilla flavored)

Red food coloring

Blue food coloring


Cut bananas in half. Insert skewer in the bottom of banana. Set aside. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the almond bark 30 seconds at a time. Stir. Coat the bananas with the melted bark and set on wax paper on a cookie sheet. Place the coated bananas in the freezer while you make the red and blue bark. Using the remaining bark (or melt more if needed) divide the bark into two bowls. Add a couple drops of red feed coloring to one bowl and blue food coloring to the other bowl. Blend well. Pour the colored barks into ziplock baggies. Snip a very small hole in the corner and decorate the bananas. Return to the refrigerator to harden.
