He’s Alive…the Tomb is Empty!!!

Happy Easter ya’ll. My second favorite time of the year.

Easter, commemorates the ultimate sacrifice of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Words are inadequate to describe the mockery, sorrow, pain and suffering Jesus endured for you, me and ALL the world. Every nation, every tongue, red, yellow, black and white. Jesus suffered and died for you!

However, despite the torture Jesus suffered, He went to the cross willingly so we ALL could spend eternity with Him, in heaven forever. Are you aware that Jesus’ resurrection was His finest hour? Death lost it’s sting, the grave was defeated and His love won!!! When Jesus rose from the dead, by His own power, He held the keys of death in his hands…hallelujah!!!

1 Peter 1:18-19 “…..And the ransom He paid was not mere gold and silver. He paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.”

Luke 24:5-7 “…Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.”

My prayer is for you to know the Lord, the One who died for you! Invite Jesus into your heart by praying this prayer from your heart to His.

Jesus, I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you too Lord and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen.
