In honor of Memorial Day, I’m calling this dessert “Patriotic Trifle.” Enjoy this weekend with family & friends as we celebrate the brave men & women who keep us safe & free.

Patriotic Trifle

1 round angel food cake
1 can strawberry pie filling
1 can blueberry pie filling
1 (8oz) tub whipped topping (thawed)
Fresh strawberries
Fresh blueberries

Pull apart angel food cake in nice size pieces. In a trifle dish, start layering first the cake, then the strawberry pie filling. Next, layer half the whipped topping. Add another layer of the cake. Then the blueberry pie filling. Finish with the remaining whipped topping. Garnish the with the fresh berries.
