Stars & Stripes Pretzels
Pretzel rods
almond bark (vanilla flavor)
strawberry or cherry “pull-n-peel” Twizzlers
blue food coloring
“star” sprinkles
In 2 separate microwave safe bowls, melt the almond bark. Dye one bowl of bark blue and leave one bowl the original color. Dip the pretzels in the white first. Place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Let dry in freezer a couple minutes until bark becomes tacky. Meanwhile, pull and peel as many Twizzlers strands as needed. Remove from freezer and wrap one or two strands around the pretzel resembling flag stripes. Return back to the freezer to harden just a few minutes. Spoon the blue bark pretzel to where the white begins. Sprinkle with star confetti. Set in the refrigerator.
